A 4HandMassage is an amazing innovation created by Andrew & Markko.

Using their knowledge and experience of various different types of massage treatments Andrew& Markko have cleverly combined basic Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Sports/Deep Tissue Massage to create their own unique experience.

The routine itself is for the most part done in synchronisation and the experience can be modified to suit each individual client. In effect, it’s like experiencing 2 full body massages at the same time!! They have progressed the concept of massage into an art form whereby they use the client’s body as a form of ‘canvas’ onto which they choreograph slow detailed moves of varying paces and pressures. The treatment is carried out on a professional massage couch in a beautifully candlelit room to a collection of world music ranging from Balearic chillout to opera to fado with the right balance of uplifting sounds to the more melancholy in surround sound which work alongside the tempo of the massage. The atmosphere alone is totally engaging and with Andrew& Markko’s 4hands working in tandem the effect is a hypnotic, awesome and ultimately trancelike experience.

OILS / CREAMS

A professional base cream called ‘Chemodol’ is used for all massage treatments. This is a thin neutral white cream which is more absorbent than other massage base oils. It is, in effect, a moisturising cream so it is good for all skin types, non-greasy/non-oily and stain-free. A wide selection of Aromatherapy oils are always available at no extra cost to enhance the mood of the massage.

VARIATIONS

Hot Stone 4HandMassage is available to be booked in advance at no extra cost. The stones used are of varying sizes, flat, smooth and rounded and made from Basalt which has a high iron content .When the stones are put into water in a temperature controlled pot, they retain heat and then can be used in slow travelling strokes over the body. The result is that the therapeutic effect of the massage is increased through the application of heat.
